Résumé : Penetration of ribonuclease into cells of Landschütz ascites tumour, treated in vitro, is accompanied by an important elevation in the metabolism of the pyrimidine bases of RNA; the metabolism of the purine bases of RNA, and that of proteins, is not modified by this enzyme. Ribonuclease does not modify the metabolism of RNA or of proteins in the bone marrow cells, treated in vitro. The observed facts are brought into relation with the variation in ribonuclease content of the two types of cells, and, on the other hand, with the properties of their nucleinic metabolism. © 1957.
