Résumé : | The first exclusive breakup measurements for the nucleus 9e are presented. Breakup via several discrete states is observed following scattering off 12C and 208Pb. The results support the prediction of a recent microscopic cluster calculation for a strong n+8Be(2 +) state component in the second excited state. |
