Résumé : A left-ear advantage is obtained by nonmusicians, and no ear difference is shown on average by both pianists and singers, in a chord same-different classification task. However, musicians seem to divide into two groups with opposite lateralization. Ear asymmetries in pianists were not affected by the left-to-right scaling of notes on the piano. © 1982.
