Résumé : Coagulation of hen's blood plasma is inhibited by iodacetamid, dichloroethyl sulfide and sulfone, maleic acid; it is accelerated by chloropicrin. The inhibitory action is probably due to the formation of substitution products by reactions between the inhibiting agent and the -SH groups of the fibrinogen. The coagulating action is probably due to the formation of -S-S-bridges between molecules. © 1947 Birkhäuser Verlag.
