| Résumé : | This article presents a litterature overview of the ophthalmologic secondary effects due to Sabril. First, a review of the visual field loss that can be related to Sabril treatment is presented; the epidemiological and physiopathological aspects of this visual field loss are considered based on experimental and clinical data. The link that can be established between electrophysiology and physiopathology following these data is further examined. Finally, two ophthalmologic follow-up algorithms are proposed for patients treated by Sabril, one for adults and the other for children. |
