Résumé : The DNA autoradiograms from cells lysed during their first replication cycle in the presence of tritiated thymidine reveal that a few fibres uniformly labelled on one strand comprise a segment with a double grain density, of variable but limited length. These segments could be heteroduplexes resulting from single strand exchanges between sister molecules.
