Résumé : An optical implementation of a programmable quantum-state discriminator and a phase-covariant quantum multimeter was presented. Both programmable detectors involved two qubits: one data qubit and one program qubit. The qubits were encoded into polarization states of single photons and the required photon pairs were generated by means of spontaneous parametric down-conversion. The results show that the measurement on the data qubit can be quite efficiently controlled by the quantum state of the program qubit.
