Résumé : | The contents of the mandibular glands of workers of T. caespitum from five European countries have been shown to be similar and to contain 2-pentanone, 4-methyl-3-hexanone, 4-methyl-3-hexanol, n-decanal, and some other minor components in variable proportions. This differs fundamentally from an earlier report that 3-octanone was the major substance present. © 1987. |
