Résumé : The resolution dependence of the steady-state saturation values of coarse-grained entropies characterizing general dynamical systems is discussed. They are proportional to the information codimension of the chaotic attractor for dissipative maps. It is found that they provide a highly accurate method for determining the information dimension of the dynamical system. Results for the field-driven Lorentz gas are also demonstrated.
