Résumé : The main interest of ultrasonic diagnosis in breast diseases is the differentiation between solid and cystic masses, between benign and malignant tumors and the precise measurement of tumors. In 601 cases reported in the literature, a correct ultrasonic diagnosis was made in 88% and in more than 90% when the size was 2 cm or more. Differentiation between cancerous and benign tumor is based on the method of sensitivity graded tomograms.
