Résumé : Most energy management system applications are developed based on the positive sequence network model. While it is commonly assumed that this is a reasonable approximation for steady state analysis, quantifying the amount of error introduced as a result of this approximation is needed. Furthermore, methods to minimize the impact of these errors on the network applications must also be developed. This paper presents a user interface and its associated software which are developed in order to facilitate investigations on the above problem. It allows computation and easy exchange of measurement data between a three-phase system simulator such as EMTP-ATP and a positive sequence network analysis software such PET (Power Education Toolbox). The paper describes the structure and utilization of the developed user interface by using small scale examples.
