Résumé : We report a 33-year-old patient with acute posterior multifocal placoid pigment epitheliopathy presenting as steroid-responsive aseptic meningitis. Four unusual biological abnormalities were present: an elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate, circulating immunocomplexes, an oligoclonal banding in cerebrospinal fluid and a transient abnormal urine sediment All these and the prompt response to corticosteroids give support to the hypothesis of a systemic autoimmune disease.
