Résumé : | We present the case of a man with a bicuspid aortic valve who presented with persistent fever. Blood cultures yielded Neisseria gonorrhoeae, and the diagnosis of infected mycotic aneurysm was confirmed by detection of the bacterial genome in the aortic wall. The patient was cured with surgery and intravenous ceftriaxone. |
