Résumé :

Pol Gérard (1886-1961) was professor of histology and pathology at the Faculty of Medicine of the Université Libre de Bruxelles. Because of numerous stays in Congo, he acquired a significant competence in the field of tropical medicine. The great diversity and quality of his scientific work makes him an outstanding personality of our faculty.
